Superhit Hindi Movie Ek Phool Do Mali (1969)

Synopsis: Somna lives a poor lifestyle with her widowed mom, Leela, in the mountainous region of India and Nepal. She makes a living working on the apple farm of wealthy widower, Kailash Nath Kaushal, who also runs a mountaineering school, and has Amar Kumar as one of his students. Somna and Amar meet, fall in love, decide to get married with Amar's parents' and Leela's approval, with the marriage to take place shortly after Amar returns from a climbing expedition. A few days later, following an avalanche, they get the news that Amar and the other climbers have been killed. A devastated Somna is mistreated by Shamsher Singh, and Kailash comes to her rescue, he also offers to marry her when he finds out that she is pregnant. The marriage takes place, Somna gives birth to a boy, Bobby, while Shamsher is arrested and sent to jail for 6 years. Kailash, who is unable to have children after an accident, is thrilled to be a father, adores and is virtually inseparable from Bobby. Five years later, Somna and Kailash, while celebrating Bobby's 6th birthday, get a shock when Amar shows up at the party. Watch the impact Amar's presence has on Kailash, Somna, Leela, and Bobby.

Antonio Nuić rođen je u Sarajevu 1977. godine. Magistrirao je režiju na Akademiji dramske umjetnosti u Zagrebu, gdje u posljednjih pet godina predaje na više kolegija. Za filmove koje režira piše i scenarije. Debitirao je pričom unutar dugometražnog omnibusa Sex, piće i krvoproliće (2004), a kasnije je snimio Sve džaba (2006, Zlatne arene za najbolju režiju i najbolji scenarij), Kenjac (2009, Zlatna arena za najbolji scenarij) i Život je truba (2015). Umjetnički je savjetnik Zagreb Film Festivala i član Upravnog odbora Društva hrvatskih filmskih redatelja.

After spending four years in prison, Franjo hasn't changed. He was, and still is, a drug dealer. His wife is dying, and her parents want to make him look as an incompetent parent in order to take away the custody over his son, Mali. However, Mali loves his father, and wants to live with him. Franjo's parenting methods are unconventional, but he has no intention of explaining them to anybody. He also won't let anybody take his son away from him. For his 40th birthday, Franjo will receive a gift that will solve all his problems.

Antonio Nuić (Sarajevo, 1977) is a writer and director. He graduated in film and TV directing from the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb, Croatia, where he has been working as a professor since 2013. He directed one of the stories in a feature-length anthology film Sex, Booze and Short Fuse (2004), after which he went on to write and direct All for Free (2006, Golden Arenas for best director and screenplay), Donkey (2009, Golden Arena for best screenplay) and Life Is a Trumpet (2015). He is a commissioning editor at Zagreb Film Festival, as well as a member of the Croatian Film Directors' Guild Board of Directors.

Yeelen (Bambara for "brightness"/"light") is a 1987 Malian film directed by Souleymane Cissé. It is filmed in the Bambara and Fula languages, and is based on a legend told by the Bambara people. Though the era is undefined, it is presumably set in the 13th century in the Mali Empire and is a heroic quest narrative featuring magic and precognition.

The film was a Blockbuster and second highest grossing movie of 1969 along with Aradhana & Do Raaste. Balraj Sahni earned a Filmfare nomination as Best Supporting Actor. The story was miscredited to Mushtaq Jalili, and is said to have been an inspired adaptation of the 1961 Hollywood classic Fanny, which is debated. The film was remade in Turkish as Evlat in 1972.

Story : Amar, a mountaineering student, falls in love with Somna. They decide to get married shortly after Amar returns from a climbing expedition, but an avalanche at the expedition changes everything.
