The film's plot revolves around four animals from the Central Park Zoo who unexpectedly find themselves stranded on the island of Madagascar, and must learn to adapt to the wild. Madagascar launched a franchise with a series of films, including the sequel Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa in 2008 and another film Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted in 2012. A spin-off featuring the series' penguin characters, Penguins of Madagascar, was released on November 26, 2014.
After getting away from the casino the animals of Madagascar find themselves in a another plane crash!

Il se passe quoi dans ce film ?
Découvrez Marty (Anthony Kavanagh), Alex (José Garcia), Gloria (Marina Foïs) et Melman (Jean Paul Rouve), quatre animaux qui ont toujours vécu en captivité au sein du zoo de Central Park à New York. Marty, un zèbre rêvant de découvrir les paysages d’Afrique, disparaît un jour de sa cage, il advient alors à ses trois meilleurs amis de se libérer pour aller le retrouver. Mais quand l’opération de sauvetage tourne au vinaigre, les quatres amis se retrouvent coincés sur l’étrange île de Madagascar. Là- bas ils devront s’adapter à la vie sauvage sans pour autant se laisser emporter par leurs instincts naturels qui pourraient leur jouer des tours.

Découvrez Marty (Anthony Kavanagh), Alex (José Garcia), Gloria (Marina Foïs) et Melman (Jean Paul Rouve), quatre animaux qui ont toujours vécu en captivité au sein du zoo de Central Park à New York. Marty, un zèbre rêvant de découvrir les paysages d’Afrique, disparaît un jour de sa cage, il advient alors à ses trois meilleurs amis de se libérer pour aller le retrouver. Mais quand l’opération de sauvetage tourne au vinaigre, les quatres amis se retrouvent coincés sur l’étrange île de Madagascar. Là-bas ils devront s’adapter à la vie sauvage sans pour autant se laisser emporter par leurs instincts naturels qui pourraient leur jouer des tours.
