Kasabanın ileri gelen insanları toplanır ve kızak köpekleri ile bir kızakçıyı serumu alması için göndermeye karar verir. Leonard Seppala (Willem Dafoe) ilk başta baş belası bir köpek olduğunu düşündüğü için Togo’dan kurtulmaya çalışır. Togo diğer köpeklere göre daha küçük ve eğitilmesi daha zor bir köpektir ancak Seppala en sonunda Togo’nun öncü bir kızak köpeği olduğunu anlar. Kasaba tarafından verilen karar ile serum koşusuna çıkan 12 yaşındaki yaşlı köpek Togo ve Seppala, Alaska’nın o güne kadar karşılaştığı en büyük fırtınaya aldırmadan kızakla kilometrelerce yolu gitmeli ve serumu alarak kasabadaki çocukları kurtarmak zorundadır.

Togo centers on "two key figures in the 1925 serum run to Nome, also known as the Great Race of Mercy, in which dog-sled teams relayed to transport diphtheria antitoxin serum through harsh conditions over nearly 700 miles to save the Alaskan town of Nome from an epidemic."

فيلم غدوة هو فيلم تونسي صدر عام 2021، وهو أول تجربة إخراجية للنجم التونسي ظافر العابدين. الفيلم يُعد دراميًا اجتماعيًا، حيث يناقش قضايا سياسية واجتماعية في تونس ما بعد الثورة، مسلطًا الضوء على تأثير الماضي على الحاضر.

تدور أحداث الفيلم حول شخصية "حبيب"، وهو محامٍ يعاني من تداعيات سياسية واجتماعية أثّرت على حياته الشخصية والمهنية، مما يجعله يواجه تحديات كبيرة تؤثر أيضًا على علاقته بابنه.

"The Silences of the Palace" is a masterful film directed by Moufida Tlatli, which depicts the experiences of women in Tunisia during the post-colonial era. Set in the 1960s and 70s, the film tells the story of Alia, a talented singer who works in a nightclub in Tunis and discovers that she is the illegitimate daughter of a wealthy man named Prince Sid’ Ali.

Synopsis:
Après plus de deux décades au service de la radio Nationale Tunisienne, Youssef s'apprête à prendre sa retraite. Lors de sa dernière emission intitulée " Tunis by Night " Youssef se trouve vicieusement coupé d'antenne.
Sa fille cadette, Aziza, se voit déconnectée du rythme et des valeurs de sa famille. Elle se coupe les veines après une cascade de déceptions.
Brisé, Youssef se laisse engloutir dans cette ville qu'il ne reconnait plus…

PLOT:
An 18-year-old on the island Djerba, Aïcha, is married to Said, who works in Tunis for much of the year. Before she can join him in Tunis, Said asks that she give him a son.[3] On the island Djerba, Aïcha lives under the rule of her mother-in-law, with a few other wives, while their husbands work elsewhere. Aïcha eventually gives birth to a son and is allowed to move to Tunis with her husband. However, her son Aziz has developmental problems and is likely autistic, which causes Saïd to reject him. Aïcha returns to Djerba, this time with her son Aziz and her two adult daughters. The film uses extended flashbacks between Aïcha and her young daughters living in Djerba prior to the birth of Aziz and then scenes in the present, where Aziz is about eight, just before she moves back to Djerba. The film ends with Aïcha and Aziz working together on the loom, making tapestries that Aïcha sells. The film ends with Aïcha's younger daughter Emna leaving, which Aïcha and Aziz live together in Djerba.

Tunisian cinema has rebounded after 7 years. The industry which produced only two to three films annually in the 2000s, now prides itself with about a dozen feature films made each year.

A young generation of filmmakers and producers are taking advantage of newfound freedoms to tackle social upheavals, political issues and conflicts, among other subjects previously banished from the silver screen for decades.

Locals say they prefer their recent homemade films to foreign blockbusters.
