A poor father is torn as he struggles to pay his daughter's tuition at one of the most expensive schools in Liberia.

When his daughter was taken to the village to visit her grandmother, the father became entangled in a web of culture and tradition.

At age fourteen, his daughter was forced into the Sande Society and was forced to marry a 54 year old man, who often raped and abused her.

Since his tribe does not practice female genital mutilation(FGM), the poor father embarks on a journey to free his daughter from the clutches of culture and tradition.
