Filmmaker follows the story of how his Angola attained freedom

Angola recently celebrated 40 years of Independence. The Portugese pulled out of Angola in 1975 but the country still suffered in a 27 year civil war. A young Angolan passionate about his country and its people spent six years documenting the history of Angola's independence. Jorge Cohen is thrilled that his documentary is being screened for the first time at the Durban International Film Festival.
