KHARTOUM: Five lives, one city, the fate of a nation. A civil servant, a tea lady, a resistance committee volunteer and two street boys. Five stories weave together in search of freedom through dreams, revolution and war from the metropolis of Khartoum Sudan to escape in East Africa.

A new cinema feature documentary forged through creative storytelling in the face of war. Filmed by four Sudanese filmmakers with a British writer / director, this is a UK, Sudan, Germany, Qatar production led by Native Voice Films & Sudan Film Factory in association with Gisa Productions, Ayin Network, XTR & BBC Storyville.
