As she matures, Buumba becomes increasingly aware of the oppressive doctrines that govern her life and the lives of other women in her community. Determined to seek freedom and challenge the status quo, she embarks on a courageous journey that pits her against deeply entrenched patriarchal traditions, risking ostracization and personal peril in her pursuit of autonomy and equality.
